Happy Early Memorial Day everyone!
It’s that time again.:) I’ve been a bit scattered this past week. With no clear deadlines, I’ve been doing a little bit of everything. And giving my brain a break! Lots of Guild Wars! I have a new character I’m playing, a Necromancer/Ranger, which I think might be my favorite combination of professions.
Anyway, here’s the rundown:
Fireborn – I started the preliminary read-through/note-taking. I’m doing this right in the document. I also still need to run through Holly Lisle’s Create a Plot Clinic to help with expanding things.
Covenant – I handwrote about 100 words while at work (shh! Don’t tell my bosses). I still need to transcribe them and finish the scene.
Water – Every day but one.
FYFB class – Thought about it, but ultimately didn’t get to it yet.
Secret project – Up to 5k now. 😀
Promotion for Fey Touched – I’ve taken a break on this. I will be diving back into it very soon.
Chocolate consumption – Dark chocolate caramels (yum!), ice cream Twix bars (2), chocolate cookies. Wow, not a lot there. Must eat more!

Yay for all those words on the secret project. That’s great! I haven’t really had any chocolate goodies this week, although we did get stuff for S’mores last night. Then, we ended up getting rained out of the fire we planned so didn’t make any. 😦 I did get strawberries and cut some of those up with my breakfast this morning

Dark chocolate caramels? I need some of those. They sound delicious. I bought some with some sea salt in them a while back, and they were amazing. 🙂
I’m curious about Holly Lisle’s Create a Plot Clinic and would love to know more. Is that a workshop she offers? It sounds like something I could use!

Denise, they are SO GOOD! The Create A Plot Clinic is actually a book, but you get membership in her forums for life, I believe, which is very helpful. 🙂

Yes, we have one of those big chocolate bars from Trader’s for late night snacking. Bad idea but a real treat. Congrats on that secret project. I notice that your goal for FEY TOUCHED says you’re stepping back from promotion. . . One suggestion that wouldn’t take very long is to get EVER TOUCHED on your Amazon Author page, for right now it’s invisible. On June 1, I start my read through, aloud for the first time.
