My first check-in of the round! Unfortunately, I have been sick with either a bad cold or a flu bug. I actually called off work both Tuesday and Wednesday (something I never do!). But having fibromyalgia complicates things. I have been very dizzy and unbalanced. Even now — I’m almost 100% and I’m still having vertigo attacks.
So, needless to say, not much has gotten done. 😦 I have started on my 2nd round of edits on Ever Touched and I am up to page 54 (of 237). I also have an idea for the final book in the series, which I am calling Shadow Touched for now. It sort of came to me last night. So that’s a thing.
I’ve been keeping up on the water drinking for the most part.
I have more or less finalized my stock art for my cover art. No energy to work on the cover yet, though!
Chocolate consumption: Oh God, lots and lots! Lindt dark chocolates; chocolate-covered Oreos, regular Oreos. Ultimate chocolate sandwich, and also a hot chocolate last night courtesy of my wonderful hubby. 😉
I hope to have more progress this week.

chocolate-covered oreos? Ohhh, pass some over. 😉 Sounds like things are going well other than the sickness. My husband’s been coughing since before Thanksgiving(though his is mostly gone except his ears have plugged up), I got it about the week before Christmas, and now our son is coughing, too.
Fallon – Yeah, those are divine! My boss’s wife makes them every year for Christmas and he brings them in. I’m sorry about your husband and son – hope they feel better soon!

I love the title Shadow Touched. Actually, I seem to love any title with “shadow” in it. I have a novel called “Made of Shadows” and a series called “Shadow-Torn.” 🙂 I’d love to hear more about your story!
Chocolate sounds wonderful. We’re still working our way through the massive amounts of chocolate and other assorted candies we received for the holidays.

Yeah, “Shadow Touched” just came to me. The Shadow Touched are aliens, I think, and one of them is going to need the help of one of my characters who is a doctor. I think. I’m not clear on the whole thing yet. i LOVE “Made of Shadows” and “Shadow Torn.” Calls up lots of neat images in my head. 😉
I am working on all my treats too. Chocolate is heaven!
