Well, I’m still sick, but I’m feeling some better, although it’s been a case of two steps forward, two steps back. I got unstuck on the sex scene, so yay!
I’ve decided to change my goal from 75k to 35k. Why, you ask? Well, I was feeling overambitious and have since realized that it probably won’t happen. This isn’t a straight rewrite — it’s requiring more than just new words. And while I’ve been counting everything, I still feel like I need to scale it down. I need to be kinder to myself and my muse – we’ve had a rough go of it so far this year. So, 35k or bust.
